I am super excited to be able to share this beautiful Detroit wedding with all of you. Pretty much from the moment I met Anji and Ryan I knew this would be one for the books, and o-boy was I right. From getting ready at the historic David Whitney building, to a ceremony that featured their grandmothers as their flower girls in the heart of Eastern Market, a quick slice at Sister Pie (Anji's place of work) and an unforgettable reception filled with surprises, laughter and explosive dance moves at the Eastern.
It took one cup of coffee and some exciting wedding conversation to make this connection stick. From there we instantly became friends, quickly realizing how much we all had in common and how our paths have crossed at least 10 times in the past without us actually meeting. Anji has been a longtime fan of my boyfriends band and Ryan used to live across the street from the coffee shop that I hung out at for years, so meeting them was like a perfect blast of nostalgia. I look forward to many more hang outs and all the 10 year pop punk reunion tours with the both of you (sorry, Ryan).
I am so grateful for the opportunity to have captured these moments for you and your family. Congratulations to the both of you, and heres to that "friday night sparkle"
