When Katherine first reached out to me about her spring Detroit elopement, I was immediately on board. I have been in love with this idea as long as I could remember and it was about to come to life. I met Katherine and Rasool in their home and couldn't have found more kindred souls to connect and work with. We immediately bonded and talked about our lives, loves and the future they will create together. (essentially our cats)

To say that it was a privilege to witness this day with them is an understatement. Katherine got ready at her local hair salon in the west village of Detroit with her best friend and witness. Their first look took place at the very popular Detroit restaurant lady of the house, in front of the exact table that Rassol popped the question just months before, followed by an intimate ceremony at Conservatory on Belle Isle. After popping some bottles and running around the city, Katherine and Rasool met some close friends for a dinner at The Apparatus Room in downtown Detroit.
